As New Zealand enters Alert Level 2, we wanted to provide you with a quick update about our COVID-19 response.

Although under Alert Level 2, we can re-enter homes and other healthcare organisations to facilitate equipment assessments and installs; protecting the health, safety and wellbeing of our team, our customers and their clients remains our top priority.

As such, our COVID-safe processes and practices remain in place. Our team will take added safety measures of wearing appropriate PPE and will continue to conduct risk assessments before entering a site. In addition to Cubro’s COVID-safe measures, our team will also ensure they follow the protocols and procedures outlined by our customers and respect the wishes of community clients.

We are available for virtual visits and joint visits if needed 
Although we are now available for physical joint visits where necessary, our preferred approach is to first look to utilise our telehealth/video conferencing tools.

We have recently launched our Cubro virtual visit service and we encourage you to try it out. You can easily book a virtual visit with any of our Community Care team members online. If a physical visit is required, then we are happy to help. Please let us know if your clients have any specific wishes prior to the appointment.

We wanted to provide you with a quick update about our COVID-19 response. Cubro will continue to operate under Alert Level 3 and our team remains committed to helping you to care for your staff, clients, residents, and patients.

We have been working hard behind the scenes to enhance our COVID-safe processes and practices, so that we can continue to protect the health and safety and well-being of our team and those that we do business with under Alert Level 3 guidelines.

  • We are following all Government and MoH guidelines regarding hygiene, travel, contact and are enabling employees to work from home where possible

With the ongoing global risks from COVID-19 keeping our employees, our customers and your clients safe is our highest priority. We are committed to working with you to do everything possible to keep the virus out of your residence/workplace/clients’ homes.

Following your protocols and procedures
Any Cubro employees who visit you and/or your clients will adhere to your organisation’s specific protocols and procedures. We are also ensuring that our employees are up to date with the latest Government updates, information and advice.

If you haven’t advised us of your protocols and procedures, we encourage you to do so. Please email us at sales@cubro.co.nz and we will bring our staff up to speed.

Stopping the spread of COVID-19
To help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, all Cubro employees have been asked to:
• Not visit a customer if they feel unwell or think they have had exposure to the virus, and to seek medical advice (the same goes for our workplace)
• Ask our customers and their clients if they have any known case of COVID-19 or are at risk before arranging a visit
• Wash and sanitise their hands thoroughly and frequently, and always before a customer visit
• Using tissues and cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze
• Avoid shaking hands or unnecessary touching

What extra measures are we taking?
• Company travel overseas has been suspended and employees have been asked to consider avoiding national flights where practical
• If employees have travelled overseas for a personal trip to countries with confirmed cases of COVID-19, we are supporting them to follow Government guidelines in regards to self-isolation.

We will keep a close eye on developments and communicate any changes to these protocols as the situation unfolds.
