While an increase in freight volumes over the holiday season is nothing newCOVID-19 has caused significant global supply chain challenges that are affecting New Zealand’s national freight networks. Please be aware there may be some delays over this period.

Current delivery timeframes
Our national freight partners are currently promising the following delivery timeframes:

North Island: 2-3 day
South Island 2-6 days

It’s important to note that these timeframes are based on when your equipment is dispatched from Cubro’s distribution centres. We aim to dispatch orders for stocked items within 1-2 days.

Last dates of dispatch for delivery before Christmas
North Island: Monday the 21st of December
South Island:  Friday the 18th of December

Some tips to help you navigate these challenges
To ensure you get your equipment when and where you need it, we strongly recommend the following to all our customers.

  • Expect some delays leading up to Christmas – while we will do our absolute best to ensure we dispatch your order as soon as possible; some delays may be possible that are outside of our control
  • Emergency cases – we understand that on occasion, you require equipment to support an emergency or urgent situation. If you have an order for a patient, resident or client who requires critical assistance, please call 0800 656 527 and communicate this with our team.

We will remain open and are here to help
While our team will take a short break on the Statutory holidays, we will be available all other weekdays to take orders throughout the Christmas period.

If you have any questions about New Zealand’s current freight challenges or our Christmas hours, please get in touch with our team on 0800 656 527 or email sales@cubro.co.nz.
