We’re excited to welcome Tony Osborne into the Cubro whanau. With more than 18 years of experience in the Healthcare industry, Tony has joined our Equipment Specialist Team and is based in Auckland.

Tony is passionate about home and community care, and brings a wealth of valuable experience and insights to our team. Not one to slow down, Tony has hit the ground running and is already working with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists across the Auckland region.
We recently sat down with Tony to find out what motivated him to join our team.
“Where to start? There are a many reasons I’m excited about being part of the team here at Cubro… Here’s my top three:
1. Working alongside a talented team
One of the things I’m really looking forward to is working alongside the talented team here at Cubro. Over the past 35 years, Cubro has worked hard to build a team of Equipment Specialists who really know their stuff.
We understand that each person we help, has a unique set of challenges and needs, and as Equipment Specialists, it’s our job to know which product or customised solution (out of thousands), will get the best outcome.
Knowing what solutions will work best for each customer isn’t a skill which you develop overnight. It takes years of hands on experience and above all, an appetite for continual learning. Now I’m within the Cubro fold, I can see this desire is something that their Equipment Specialist team has in spades, along with a strong culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
It’s hugely motivating and refreshing to be part of a team who are 100% committed to their work.
2. The opportunity to make a real difference through our work
It’s clear that everyone at Cubro is genuinely passionate about creating solutions for New Zealanders of all ages and abilities, which really make a difference.
Making a meaningful difference through work is important, and I love being able to help provide solutions which enhance the quality of lives. For me, that’s a pretty cool purpose to come to work every day.
3. Being part of the Cubro family
It’s exciting when you find a company whose values align with yours, however it’s something else when that company actually lives and breathes their values.
Cubro embrace real family values and go the extra mile to take care of their people and customers each and every day. Putting people first is something which is hugely important to me, and I already feel like a valued part of the Cubro whanau.
